I love doing makeup and something I loveeee doing with makeup is creating different makeup looks. This is because it means you can look different every single day. One day you might decide to have really bright makeup which might make you look like a barbie and the next day you might decide to have a more natural look or a dark gothic look...it's so great you can literally change it up everyday.
For this look I decided to go for a more "Ancient Egyptian" goldi-sh look, so here it is:

PRODUCTS USED

FACE
Freedom Pro Correct Palette
MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation

EYES/BROWS
Music Flower Eyebrow Gel
MAC Studio Finish Concealer
Freedom Black Arts Pro Eyeshadow Palette
Sleek Eyeliner
Miss Sporty Fabulous Lash Mascara

HIGHLIGHT / CONTOUR & CHEEKS
Ben Nye Luxury Banana Powder
Ben Nye Luxury Dark Cocoa Powder
Sleek Blush in Sahara

LIPS
MAC Vivid Glam Lipstick
Freedom Pro Butters Lipgloss in TGIF

STEP 1: I always start off with my eyebrows when doing my makeup, I find my eyebrows take the longest amount of time so I get them out the way early. I used my Music Flower Eyebrow Gel in black to outline and fill in my brows. I then used my MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW40 to clean up my eyebrows and make them stand out.

STEP 2: I then took the orange colour from my Freedom Pro Correct Palette and applied it to my under eye area in order to reduce any discolouration and redness. After blending out my concealer (so I don't look like a clown) I applied my MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NW45 to my entire face and neck.

STEP 3: From my Freedom Black Arts Pro Palette I applied the black eyeshadow to my eyelids and then applied to gold eyeshadow on top. I then blended the two together and applied black Sleek Eyeliner to my lower lash line.

STEP 4: My favourite step! Highlighting and contouring! I love highlighting and contouring because it can really change your look. I used a triangular sponge to apply my Ben Nye Luxury Banana Powder to my under eye area, along with on my jaw line and the bridge of my nose. I then applied my Ben Nye Luxury Dark Cocoa Powder just underneath my cheekbones in order for them to look higher and more defined and on the sides of my nose to make it look smaller. After applying all this powder to my face I did look a hot mess, however after blending, everything came together.

STEP 5: After applying a lot of makeup, my face can look very lifeless which is why I love blush because it brings the colour right back to you! I applied my Sleek Blush in Sahara to the apples of my cheeks to brighten up my face! I then took my Miss Sporty Fabulous Lash Mascara and piled it on (I'm seriously a mascara junkie so you don't need to apply as many layers as I do, lol).

STEP 6: Lips! This is always my final and second favourite step. Putting lipstick or gloss on really completes the look and brings everything all together. For this makeup look I used my MAC Vivid Glam I Lipstick, topped with my Freedom Pro Butters Lipgloss in TGIF
I then sprayed a couple of sprays of my Makeup Revolutions Oil Control Fixing Spray and wollah my makeup look was complete.
I absolutely loved this makeup look and creating it. Red lips is definitely a favourite for me as it's very bold and "stand out-ish" and I just love dark eyes so this is definitely one of my favourite makeup looks of my own!

What do you think? Let me know!

ANCIENT EGYPTIAN MAKEUP LOOK

Tuesday, 28 June 2016

Hey my beauties, I thought I would do a review about these fabulous lashes I have been using!
I have recently become an ambassador of Dodo Lashes which is a lash company which provide 100% full mink lashes for only $5 yassssss that's right $5 and they ship worldwide too (for orders over $30) which is amazing as I live in London lol.
The lashes are gorgeous and feel super soft and silky. The lashes I have personally been using are the Dodo Lashes in D105. The band of the lashes are very defined which I love. A lot of the time when I buy strip lashes, the band is barely visible, which makes me end up putting glue on the actual lashes and then the glue ripping the lashes out when I take the eyelashes off and remove the glue. BUTTTT because of the defined band this problem is no more!

Also, as a person with particularly small eyes (thank you Dad for passing those genes on lol) full strip lashes tend to swamp my eyes and just look ridiculous (even when I cut them down), which is why I usually buy strip half lashes. However, my Dodo Lashes in D105 do not create this problem. As the lashes are 100% mink they give off a seriously natural look.
I would 100% recommend buying these lashes as they are by far the best strip lashes I have ever used. Also, if you use my discount code "chanelsbeautybible" you get some money off the lashes! (which is amazingggg as the lashes are a great price anyway!)

Have you tried any Dodolashes? If you have what did you think? Let me know.

DODO LASHES REVIEW

Tuesday, 21 June 2016

Hey my lovelies, so I've got another OOTD post for you so I hope you like it!

OUTFIT DETAILS

- Hat: eBay
- Dress: eBay
- Heels: JustFab
- Jacket: Topshop

We all love red, I don't care what anyone says red is a colour I absolutely LOVE to wear! I feel it looks amazing, is great for the Summer time and just adds a little bit of sex appeal to anyone (wink, wink lol). So of course I chose this wear a red bodycon dress. I felt that wearing this dress would definitely brighten up the day for me as the crusty British weather has been just that...crusty (I mean it's June and it has been raining but ahh let's not get into that).
Now I love over the top in your face shoes so these lace-up heels were defo a need to purchase. I paired these shoes up with my red dress so that instead of having statement shoes or a statement dress, I could have a statement outfit. I was fully loving wearing this outfit and it was seriously drawing attention (or that could have been the fact that I was in a London park on a cold June day wearing a dress and extremely in your face lace-up heels lol - most probably that).
I love a long, smart, black coat so I just had to grab my Topshop coat when putting together my outfit. I feel that the coat definitely added more class to the outfit as such a short dress with such heels can sometimes look a little on the "cheap" side.
Finally, I added the Beret to the outfit as I have an serious hat fetish so simply had to lol but I think it adds a cute look to the outfit.

What do you think? Let me know!
